These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Garden Cooperative, a local community platform for gardeners and farms operated as a sole proprietorship ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms in full.
By signing up for a recurring subscription plan, you authorize The Garden Cooperative to charge your payment method automatically on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) until you cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle; no partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
A 3-day free trial is offered on qualifying subscription plans. Your payment method will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Purchase of a "Lifetime Pass" grants the individual buyer access to the digital services and features included at the time of purchase for as long as the platform is actively maintained, operational, and commercially available (the "Product Lifespan").
The Lifetime Pass is non-transferable and applies to a single registered account. It does not include access to third-party services, integrations, or add-ons that may be offered separately in the future.
The platform operator reserves the right to modify, update, or entirely discontinue the digital service at any time. In the event of a permanent platform shutdown or discontinuation of service, the operator will provide users with at least sixty (60) days of advance notice via email.
If the platform is permanently discontinued within twelve (12) months of your Lifetime Pass purchase, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund. After twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, the Lifetime Pass is non-refundable. Subscription fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
You agree to use The Garden Cooperative only for lawful purposes. You must not post content that is abusive, fraudulent, or harmful to other members. The Garden Cooperative reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, journal entries, community messages). By posting content, you grant The Garden Cooperative a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other members as part of the platform's normal operation. We do not sell your content to third parties.
The Garden Cooperative is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available without interruption or that growing recommendations will be accurate for your specific location or conditions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Garden Cooperative's liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription or Lifetime Pass in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of The Garden Cooperative after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
